I saw the MoH announcement and as a military Brat (US Army, Hail Dad, Rip at Arlington) and a US Navy E-4 mafia member, I have raised a glass and shed a tear reading about another True American Hero, who stood between good and evil and life and death. Hail, 'til Valhalla brother!

Thinking of you, Ollis Family, and the bravery of Michael on this somber anniversary. His memory will live on and inspire us all to live our lives selflessly and honorably. Much love to you all on a difficult day.

Last Halloween, I happened to read the article on Michael in the NY Post. I was very surprised and saddened since I served with Bob Ollis in our training and Vietnam. Great friend, even ushered in my wedding. I would be honored to donate to the foundation and will do shortly. I'm involved in a few veterans' charities in CT and will do what I can for the foundation.
